2015 Tournament of Roses Parade Package


Experience the Tournament of Roses Parade the beautiful pageantry and tradition of magnificent floral floats, high-stepping equestrians and spirited marching bands highlight this popular holiday. The sights and sounds surrounding the annual Tournament of Roses Parade combine to produce a truly unique and memorable experience. Visit Pasadena to see the floats being constructed and readied for their parade debut. Throughout the Rose Parade activities, you will be astonished by the colors and fragrances of thousands of flowers and plant materials that cover these massive works of floral artistry. Every year we receive numerous comments from our guests that “they have always dreamed of actually being at the Tournament of Roses Parade", or it was on their “Bucket List” of things to do. Now is your opportunity to experience this exciting and vibrantly colorful event.

Monday, December 29th – Welcome to Southern California

Upon your arrival A la Carte Tours can provide (optional) transfers from Orange County Airport (SNA) or from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to the fabulous 4-star Embassy Suites Anaheim Orange Hotel. When you arrive at the hotel, an A la Carte Tours staff member will be waiting to welcome you.

Tuesday, December 30th – See the Floats being Adorned for their Debut and “Go Hollywood”

Your first full day will start with a plentiful Breakfast Buffet. Then, get ready to board your motorcoach departing early in the morning for a tour of one of the massive Float Barns where the actual floats for the Tournament of Roses Parade are created and assembled. Then you’re in for a special treat as you have a delicious lunch, which is included, at the famous Grill on Hollywood. Afterwards you’ll have additional time after lunch, at your leisure, to stroll down the exciting and vibrant Hollywood Boulevard and view the many bronze stars along the Hollywood Walk of Fame, see the Kodak Theatre, and view the hand & foot-prints of Hollywood’s greatest icons at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre.

Wednesday, December 31st – See Southern California Your Way

Again your day will start with a delicious Breakfast Buffet. This is your day to choose from a wide variety of optional tours (additional) available in the area. You may want to take a VIP Tour of Warner Bros. Studios or the Los Angeles and Hollywood Tour, possibly visit Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Theme Parks, Universal Studios Hollywood, Los Angeles with Stars Homes & Beach Tour, take the San Diego Zoo Tour, San Diego Sea World Tour or Tijuana Shopping Adventure. Or use your included 5-Day Anaheim Resort Transit Pass to visit local attractions, or take advantage of exceptional local shopping and the numerous fine dining options available in the area.

Thursday, January 1st – You’ll Love a Parade

Begin the first day of the New Year with a lovely Breakfast Buffet or convenient Grab-n-Go Breakfast. Then get ready to board your motorcoach departing early this morning for the Tournament of Roses Parade, where you’ll have choice seats at the beginning of the parade with a perfect vantage point for viewing the parade and picture-taking. You’ll see the breathtaking animated floats, elegant equestrian units, live performances and lively performing marching bands from across the United States and around the world. After the parade your motorcoach will transport you to a local restaurant for a delightful lunch, which is included. Afterwards you’ll finish the day with a visit to the picturesque Post Parade - Showcase of Floats for an up-close view of all the fabulous floats that were in the parade. Be sure to bring your camera for this photo-op of these vivid displays of floral extravagance.

Friday, January 2nd – Parting is Such Sweet Sorrow

This morning you will enjoy yet another delightful Breakfast Buffet at your hotel, prior to your (optional) transfer to the Orange County Airport (SNA) or Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) with memories to last a lifetime.
